Small Journal 2: Dahlia (She opened her eyes)

Not a lot to say today. Just playing around with this page, liking the dimensionality of it. I feel like I want to write something on it, but I’m not sure what, so for now it stays as is.

Busy getting ready for a holiday weekend camping, hiking, and playing by the water. It’s a Washington State beach though so we’ll likely be wearing  jackets and dodging rain drops. I’ll be back next week. Until then…

To make this I played with: Book pages, Dylusions ink, acrylic paint, acrylic ink, sharpie, craft paper, Modge Podge.

Postscript: Added some writing to the top left corner…a play on the words you can see peeking through the ink on the book page.

  1. Great page! I love how the flower *pops* out from the page, and the colors are great :)

    1. Thanks, Kitty :) I was not sure about the colors at first, but I think it came together in the end.

  2. I love Dahlias, and the fact that this one pops from the page:)

    1. Thanks! I love them too :) It was a fun little page to make.
