Since I started this blog in February, but called in “A Year of Living Craftily” you might be thinking to yourself, “Hmm, more like eleven months.” Or, if you are a real stickler, ” Ten months, two weeks.” Then again, you might not be someone to quibble over a few weeks. But if you were, you would still be wrong, because I made something in January (patting self on back.) Well, I started something in January, which counts. My blog, my rules. Super-kid (hobbies include Legos, knocking stuff down with other stuff, and running around like a maniac) likes to decorate for holidays, so we made some garland for Valentines day.
I had no idea I would be starting a blog way back then, so the photo is not very good. In fact, to set expectations, I offer this disclaimer: I am a terrible photographer with a crappy camera. So most photos I share will be of questionable quality 🙂 Then again, maybe that will be another side effect of this whole blog/documentation experiment: I will become more adept with the camera. In fact, I expect as I journey my way back to my creative side there will be lots of little side benefits and lessons learned not originally expected. Cool.
