What can I say? I think I might become addicted to mini-books. This one was so much fun to make, and it was a great way to use some of the random bits of paper that I have been hoarding, um, I mean saving. This project was based off of a tutorial I saw here at PaperVine.
I’m not entirely sure what I will do with this little book (it’s 3″ x 3″). I’m thinking I will probably use it for quotes, or a home for another poem. Since the pages are pretty wildly patterned I will need to either prep them for text, or paste in printed quotes or spaces for text. Might even use a white out pen on some of the darker pages…who knows ? I’m sure this little book will pop up on this blog again someday soon!
I hope everyone is having a lovely, creative, thoughtful day. I am cheered by the sun again today! I hope it lasts until my son gets home from preschool so we can have some sunny outside time. These days that usually means me blowing bubbles while he runs around giving them a karate chop or popping them with a branch “sword.” Ah, boys… 😉
