Well, not really, but things have been pretty hectic the last few days. Sadly, my art cart (the mobile craft center!) and my metals have sat idle. I have not…lots of freelance work coming in (which is great, right? Right?) but that always means less time for the “me” things. Also, a friend went out of town for business so there is an extra 4-year old in the house for a few days 🙂 In some ways having the two of them together is easier, in some ways harder–like getting them to sleep at approximately the same time. There is not enough caffeine in the world to keep me going today!
That being said, I wanted to share this little work in progress. I hope to get back to it soon, and turn it into a journal page. Right now its pencil and my sons Crayola water colors. Its modeled after a pixel painting from Wit & Whistle I saw, but this is not from any photograph, just squares with random (or is it…?) color placement.
Hopefully, I’ll be back soon with a new project (dying to make some silver chain and document the process for you all!) and to share some photos we took this past weekend during a lovely sunny hike just outside Seattle.
