This page started off so bright and cheery, and the more I played with it, the darker it got, literally and figuratively. I’m not entirely sure where the phrase “I have no words. I have no words.” came from. I suspect it stems from the fact that I have been feeling like my creativity is stifled by the insane amount of work I have at the moment (combined with a rather nasty head cold which has been sending me to bed early every night.) In any event, there is something raw about the page that I like…there is symmetry, but also something that feels unexpected. Well, that’s my take anyway…what do you think?
To make this page I played with acrylics, white-out pen, silver and black sharpies, alcohol inks, and book pages.
